Our production process for the drum is a complex and highly precise operation that guarantees top-notch quality. Firstly, the drum is directly fabricated using large seamless steel pipes. These pipes serve as the fundamental building blocks, providing excellent structural integrity. To achieve the precise dimensions required, we employ a state-of-the-art flame cutting machine. This device allows for highly accurate cutting, ensuring that each section of the drum is cut to exact specifications.
When it comes to welding, we utilize a professional drum welding machine for joining the inner discs of the drum. This specialized equipment ensures strong and reliable welds, minimizing the risk of any structural weaknesses. For the welding of the drum shaft sleeves and discs, a positioner is employed. This tool enables us to achieve optimal welding angles, resulting in seamless and durable connections.
Subsequently, a large lathe is used to machine the outer cylinder of the drum. This step is crucial in ensuring that the wall thickness remains uniform throughout, which is essential for the drum's overall performance. Additionally, it helps to minimize the radial runout, allowing the drum to rotate smoothly and stably. In the shaft processing stage, we carefully select No. 45 round steel and shaft sleeves. This choice is made to ensure the concentricity of the shaft, reducing the eccentric force that could otherwise lead to vibrations and premature wear. By minimizing this force, the drum can rotate more stably, enhancing its lifespan and operational efficiency.
We also place great emphasis on the installation of bearings. High-quality bearings and bearing housings are adopted, along with bearing inner diameter enlargers. To install the bearings, we use a heating method. By gently heating the bearings, they can be easily pushed to the correct bearing positions without the need for forceful knocking, which could potentially damage the bearings.
Furthermore, depending on the operating conditions, specific treatments are carried out. When the resultant force borne by the drum is greater than 80 KN, stress relief treatment is necessary to prevent any potential structural damage. If the belt speed is greater than 2.5 m/s, static balance detection is required to ensure that the drum rotates evenly and without excessive vibrations.
In terms of producing different standards pulley, our production scope is extensive. The diameter ranges from Φ114mm to Φ2400m, and the length spans from 260mm to 3400mm. This wide range allows us to cater to diverse industrial needs, whether it's for small-scale machinery or large industrial conveyor systems. Each pulley is manufactured with the same level of precision and care as our drums, ensuring reliable performance across a variety of applications.
