Our production process for the drum is a masterful and meticulously executed operation, ensuring unparalleled quality. Beginning with the direct fabrication of the drum using large, seamless steel pipes, these robust pipes form the essential framework, offering exceptional structural integrity. To attain the exact dimensions required, we implement a cutting-edge flame cutting machine. This advanced device provides precision cutting, guaranteeing that every segment of the drum meets stringent specifications with utmost accuracy.
In the realm of welding, we leverage a sophisticated drum welding machine to meticulously join the inner discs of the drum. This specialized apparatus ensures robust and dependable welds, significantly reducing the likelihood of any structural vulnerabilities. For the welding of drum shaft sleeves and discs, a positioner is utilized. This ingenious tool allows for the attainment of ideal welding angles, resulting in smooth and resilient connections.
Next, a large lathe is employed to machine the drum's outer cylinder, a vital step to ensure uniform wall thickness throughout, crucial for optimal drum performance. This precision machining minimizes radial runout, allowing the drum to revolve smoothly and steadily. For shaft processing, we meticulously select No. 45 round steel and shaft sleeves, chosen for their ability to maintain shaft concentricity, thereby minimizing eccentric forces that could otherwise cause vibrations and premature wear. By reducing these forces, the drum operates more stably, significantly extending its lifespan and enhancing operational efficiency.
We prioritize the installation of bearings with utmost care. We utilize high-quality bearings and bearing housings, complemented by bearing inner diameter enlargers. To facilitate the bearing installation, a heating method is employed, gently heating the bearings for seamless placement into the correct positions, thereby eliminating the need for forceful knocking, which could potentially compromise the bearings.
Moreover, specific treatments are performed based on operational conditions. Should the resultant force on the drum exceed 80 KN, stress relief treatment is conducted to avert any potential structural compromise. In scenarios where belt speed surpasses 2.5 m/s, static balance detection is essential to ensure even, vibration-free drum rotation.
Our production scope for different standard pulleys is impressively expansive, with diameters ranging from Φ114mm to Φ2400m and lengths from 260mm to 3400mm. This extensive range allows us to fulfill a wide array of industrial demands, from compact machinery to large-scale industrial conveyor systems. Each pulley is crafted with the same meticulous precision and care as our drums, ensuring dependable performance across a multitude of applications.
