Our production process for creating the drum is an intricate and exceptionally precise procedure that ensures premium quality at every step. Initially, the drum is expertly crafted using large seamless steel pipes, which serve as the foundational framework, bestowing outstanding structural integrity. To meet the precise measurements required, we utilize a cutting-edge flame cutting machine. This advanced apparatus allows for highly meticulous cutting, guaranteeing that each segment of the drum meets exact specifications with precision and accuracy.
In the realm of welding, we employ a specialized drum welding machine to seamlessly join the inner discs of the drum. This advanced machinery ensures robust and dependable welds, significantly reducing any risk of structural weaknesses. For welding the drum shaft sleeves and discs, a positioner is utilized. This indispensable tool allows us to achieve the optimal welding angles, resulting in flawless and enduring connections that enhance the overall durability of the product.
Subsequently, utilizing a large lathe, the outer cylinder of the drum undergoes meticulous machining. This vital step ensures uniform wall thickness throughout, which is critical for optimal drum performance. Additionally, it minimizes radial runout, allowing the drum to rotate smoothly and with unwavering stability. During the shaft processing stage, we meticulously select No. 45 round steel along with shaft sleeves. This deliberate choice is made to ensure the shaft's concentricity, reducing eccentric forces that could otherwise cause vibrations and premature wear. By minimizing these forces, the drum rotates more stably, significantly enhancing its lifespan and operational efficiency.
We place a strong emphasis on the precise installation of bearings. High-quality bearings and bearing housings are meticulously selected, complemented by bearing inner diameter enlargers. The installation process employs a sophisticated heating method. Gently heating the bearings allows them to be effortlessly positioned in their correct locations without forceful knocking, which could potentially compromise the integrity of the bearings.
Moreover, depending on the specific operating conditions, tailored treatments are performed. When the drum's resultant force exceeds 80 KN, stress relief treatment becomes essential to avert any potential structural damage. Additionally, if the belt speed surpasses 2.5 m/s, static balance detection is conducted to ensure the drum rotates uniformly and without inducing excessive vibrations.
Regarding the production of various standard pulleys, our manufacturing scope is impressively extensive. The diameter spans from Φ114mm to an impressive Φ2400mm, and lengths range from 260mm to 3400mm. This broad spectrum allows us to meet a diverse array of industrial demands, whether for compact machinery or expansive industrial conveyor systems. Each pulley is crafted with the same precision and care as our drums, ensuring consistent and reliable performance across a multitude of applications.
